Biography

Hailing from Mobile, Ala., George Edward Preston IV is an actor and first-year MFA Performance candidate at UNLV. He earned his B.A. in Theatre Arts from Pepperdine University. Some of his Pepperdine credits include Jason in Medea, Coalhouse Walker Jr. in Ragtime, and Katherine in a gender-swapped production of The Taming of the Shrew. At the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, he originated the role of Agent J in the premiere of The Abode.

Before coming to UNLV, Preston worked as a commercial producer in New York’s advertising industry. That experience inspired him to produce stories of his own and led him to found Renaissance House Productions, where he develops projects for the screen. Across theatre and film, he is drawn to characters with big hearts, complicated choices, and something worth fighting for. His Nevada Conservatory Theatre credits include Piero in Big Love. Preston is proud to be part of the UNLV MFA Acting class of 2029.
