Francisco has a deep love for the city of Las Vegas, and that loves extends to its wonderful university, UNLV. As a Senator from the College of Liberal Arts, Francisco has sought to make sure that student money is spent in a way that helps all undergraduates. This includes funding Student-Run Organizations and assisting in programs that help marginalized groups, such as DACA recipients. Outside of CSUN, Francisco has worked with the Nevada Conservation League to increase environmental awareness on campus and helping to upkeep UNLV's community garden. Francisco is the chair of the Oversight committee, devoted to ensuring that CSUN officials are held accountable for any actions that are against their position, the university, or those they are meant to represent.
