Esther Herrera is originally from Chicago, IL but has lived in the Las Vegas area since 2009. She earned her bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in Latino/a Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master's degree in higher education at UNLV. Esther came from the College of Southern Nevada where she was an advisor/specialist in the counseling department. She has experience in the education field in the areas of 7th-grade teaching, admissions, and academic advising. In her spare time, Esther enjoys working out, watching boxing and the Chicago Bears play.
