Elizabeth Byers (she/her) serves as a student support specialist for the Nevada Forward™ Apprenticeship Program, where she provides coaching, mentorship, and advising to undergraduate students. An alumna of UNLV, she earned her B.A. in Elementary Education before obtaining an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading from Grand Canyon State University. She has also contributed to UNLV as a part-time instructor since 2024.

Elizabeth brings extensive educational experience to her role, including over a decade of classroom teaching. She previously served as a Read by Grade 3 learning strategist for the Clark County School District, where she focused on coaching educators to enhance their teaching methods and boost student achievement.
