Biography
Elizabeth Brox, Ph.D., MSN-Ed, RN, CNE, is a nurse educator and scholar whose work focuses on inclusive nursing education, faculty development, and equitable learning environments. She serves as an assistant professor. Brox brings extensive experience in pre-licensure nursing education, academic leadership, and curriculum design. Her teaching and scholarly work emphasize evidence-based instruction, accessibility in nursing education, and the preparation of practice-ready nurses. Her clinical background in pediatric and neonatal nursing, along with experience in community health settings, informs her student-centered and practice-grounded approach to education.

Education Background
Brox earned her Ph.D. in Nursing Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing Education at Western Governors University and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Roseman University of Health Sciences.
Research or Scholarship
Her scholarship focuses on ableism and inclusion in nursing education, exploring how structural and cultural factors affect students with disabilities. Her doctoral dissertation, Exploring the Degrees of Ableism Nursing Students with Disabilities Experience, adds to nursing education literature on equity, access, and accommodations in clinical learning environments. In addition to her published work, Brox serves as a peer reviewer for scholarly nursing education journals, contributing to the advancement of evidence-based teaching and learning through rigorous evaluation of educational research.
