As Associate Vice President of Financial Planning, Budget & Analysis, Elise Bunkowski provides vision, leadership, and tactical direction in the areas of budget and analysis and annual and multi-year financial planning for operational and capital activities. She develops and coordinates budgets for reporting to NSHE, the Board of Regents, the state legislature, and governor's offices and builds relationships with university and community stakeholders. Ms. Bunkowski leads the Financial Planning, Budget, & Analysis team and works with budget managers across the institution to align resource planning with university priorities.

Background

Ms. Bunkowski came to UNLV in 2022 as the division business officer for Business Affairs. She brought with her extensive experience in higher education finance and the broader financial sector. Prior to UNLV, she served as chief financial officer for Truckee Meadows Community College. Ms. Bunkowski began her career in higher education at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine after holding various roles in the financial sector.
