Elia is originally from Southern California but considers Las Vegas home, having lived in the area for most of their life. A first-generation college graduate, they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2023, making UNLV a significant part of their academic and professional journey. Prior to becoming an academic advisor, they supported students across several areas at UNLV, including the Office of Admissions, College of Liberal Arts, Honors College, and the Graduate College. These experiences allowed Elia to witness firsthand the challenges students face as they navigate university life, deepening their commitment to providing clear guidance, accessible resources, and a supportive environment. Outside of work, Elia enjoys baking, hiking, crafting, playing D&D, brewing tea, exploring local cafés and restaurants, and collecting trinkets.
