DJ Burtch is a writer, animator, and voice actor currently pursuing their MFA in writing for dramatic media at UNLV. Originally from southern California, DJ developed a love of animation from a very young age, thanks to Saturday morning cartoons and anime. They hope to showrun their own series one day, either at an established animation studio or as an independent production. They have received two bachelor's degrees so far during their time in academia: a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Film from UNLV. 

When not working on developing their own projects, DJ can be found doing advocacy work for transgender rights, catching up on their massive backlog of video games, or reading the latest chapter of their favorite manga.
