David Almanza is a Graduate Research Assistant for the Public Communication Initiative. He is an instructor and doctoral candidate in Public Affairs. He earned his bachelor's and master's degree in communication studies from UNLV. His research is centered around Voice within processes of policy-making. He works to examine the role of various communities within policy conversations by analyzing democratic processes through a rhetorical lens.
