Daniela Castañeda
Museum Docent
Biography
Daniela Castañeda is an artist, curator, and museum worker who holds a bachelor of fine arts in art with a concentration in painting, drawing and printmaking from UNLV. She is a dedicated docent who also engages in research and collections management.
Castañeda leads the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art’s Bus to Barrick program, giving educational guided tours for the Clark County School District’s K-12 students and facilitating hands-on workshops. She additionally conducts tours for faculty members, university students, and other museum guests. Passionately committed to her work as a docent, she promotes active dialogue around the visual arts and ensures that the museum is a safe space for everyone. As an artist, she has featured in both solo and group exhibitions throughout Clark County, Nevada.
