Biography
Christina Patterson is a licensed psychologist in the states of Nevada and New Mexico. Christina received their doctorate from Utah State University in a combined clinical/counseling/school psychology program; their master of science from Eastern Washington University in a psychology program with a clinical emphasis; and their bachelor of art degree in psychology from University of Nevada Las Vegas. Christina completed an APA – accredited predoctoral internship and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. Christina’s clinical interests include LGBTQ+ populations with an emphasis on care for gender minorities, anxiety, depression, adjustment and transition concerns, and trauma. They approach therapy from a cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and behavioral intervention approach with a feminist, multicultural, compassion-focused lens.
