Born and raised in Las Vegas, Camile Lopez is an artist and museum worker who earned a bachelor of fine arts with a concentration in painting, drawing and printmaking at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2025.

Having studied gallery culture and practice at UNLV’s Donna Beam Gallery, Lopez has now become part of the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art’s Bus to Barrick program. As a docent, she provides guided tours of the exhibitions and interactive workshops for K-12 CCSD students. Her tours open up an educational space for students to observe, explore, and discuss artwork and artists.

As an artist, she has exhibited her artwork throughout Las Vegas. Her practice explores her Mexican American identity and the separation between divinity and humanity.
