Briseyda Montes, a Las Vegas native, graduated summa cum laude in 2022 from Nevada State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, specializing in Public Relations, and with minors in Sociology, Social Justice, and Gender & Sexuality. She began her career at UNLV as a Student Recruitment Coordinator, where she discovered her passion for higher education and student success. Currently pursuing her Master’s of Education in Higher Education, Briseyda remains deeply committed to fostering community and providing robust student support. Whether mentoring, facilitating workshops, or collaborating with campus partners, her goal is to create an atmosphere where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. In her free time, Briseyda enjoys reading romance novels or watching WWE.
