Biography

Ariadna (“Ari”) Ramirez Carrasco is a dancer and teacher raised in Las Vegas, NV. She began her formal dance training after graduating from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts as a music major. Although her dance training began later in life, she went on to train and graduate from the College of Southern Nevada and eventually from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she received her BFA in dance performance and choreography, along with a certification in pilates. Ari is also a choreographer whose work has been featured in dance festivals, such as the Dance in the Desert Festival and Take Up Space Dance Festival. She is currently a teaching artist with The Smith Center, as well as a dance instructor for a studio in Henderson, NV.

During her free time, Ari continues to dance and choreograph. She has worked throughout the valley as a dancer and choreographer, both during and after her time in college. During her time at UNLV, Ari discovered her love for dance for the camera, and has done choreographic works through the medium as well. She also enjoys doing hair, makeup, and editing music, all of which she has used, and continues to use, for her choreographic work.
