April Cruda works on the UNLV Contact Tracing Team in partnership with the Southern Nevada Health District. Her interests include epidemiology and outbreak investigation, health interventions and community health. Prior to joining the UNLV Contact Tracing Team last year, she spent five years as a wellness program coordinator for organizations such as the Stanford School of Medicine, City of San Jose Parks & Recreation Department, and non-profit organizations in Clark County. She received a bachelor's degree in Public Health from San Jose State University, and is finishing her last independent study course for a Master in Public Health degree from UNLV.
