Anthony Jordan is a Professor of Government at Central Texas College. Upon taking the position in Fall 2018, he has taught Federal Government and Texas Government. He also serves as Chapter Advisor for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In these roles he mentors both traditional and non- traditional college students and aids in the developing of their professional skills. He believes that the develop of professional skills is an area where current university approaches could improve and works to prepare his student for the academic and job markets. Anthony graduated from UNLV in Spring 2018 with a Ph.D. in Political Science with concentrations in International Relations and Political Theory. He earned his B.A. in Political Science (2006) and M.A. in Political Science (2013) at the University of Southern Mississippi His research has been published in Latin American Policy. His main research was in diplomacy in Latin America. He also earned the Teaching, Research, and Mentorship certifications from the UNLV Graduate College in Spring 2018.
