Anthony DeCosmo is an MFA student in the Theatre program at UNLV studying lighting design and technology. He is a lighting technician, stagehand, and theatre artist who obtained his B.A. in Theatre from Colorado State University in 2021. He moved to UNLV from Colorado where he lived for the past 18 years, except for one year to work for Walt Disney World in 2023 as an entertainment technician.

DeCosmo spent his summers of ’26, ’25, and ’24 working with Colorado Shakespeare Company as a lighting technician. His most recent production credits involved him stepping into the role of assistant stage manager with Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (The Thin Place) and Theatre Or (The Last Yiddish Speaker). DeCosmo enjoys challenging himself with new opportunities to learn and grow his craft, and he’s very excited to be able to do this here with the Nevada Conservatory Theatre.
