Biography
Angelika Bazarnik is a Ph.D. student in hospitality administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where her research focuses on stressors, inefficiencies, and technology-driven solutions in event management. She earned a master of science in hotel administration from UNLV and a bachelor of science in business administration from WSB–National Louis University in Poland.
She has taught Event Proposal Process (TCA-301) at UNLV for two years, sharing her industry expertise with the next generation of hospitality leaders. Her professional career spans more than 20 years in luxury and high-volume events, with leadership roles at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, Wynn Resorts, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, SLS Las Vegas, Westin Las Vegas, and ARAMARK at the Anaheim Convention Center. Over the course of her career, she has managed more than 6,000 events.
Bazarnik is also the creator of EVENT-IT, a mobile platform designed to reduce stress and miscommunication in event planning. Her dual perspective, as a practitioner, educator, and researcher, drives her mission to bridge the industry and academia while advancing innovation in hospitality.
