Biography

Angel is a third-year student majoring in interdisciplinary studies with concentrations in history, political science, and sociology. He aspires to become involved in the legal and public policy field with emphasis on education and student constitutional civil liberties.

As an associate justice, Angel has continued to uphold key constitutional principles found within the CSUN constitution and other governing documents. He remains an active member within the organization and other parts of the campus community. Angel is currently a peer mentor for the College of Liberal Arts, where he guides over 25 incoming students in a first-year seminar course. He is also involved in various RSOs on campus such as the Political Science Club, UNLV Moot Court, and UNLV Interfaith. He has also been involved outside the university community while interning and volunteering for Project 150: a local non-profit helping high school students. Additionally, he is a dedicated member of the UNLV “Star of Nevada” marching band, along with other music ensembles across campus.

Angel loves to lead by example and highly values his involvement with the campus community. He attributes the people who believed in him as the source of his motivation and determination.
