Biography

 

Anesce Dremen is a writer often found with a tea cup, traveling between the US, China, and India. She ran away and became estranged from her abusive family to pursue education as a first generation low income college student. Anesce has been supported by Fulbright, the Critical Language Scholarship, and Gilman Scholarship. Her work is published or forthcoming in Longreads, Stillhouse Press, Gordon Square Review, Tea Journey, Business Insider, The Rumpus, and Electric Lit. She has been interviewed/quoted by The New York Times, The Independent, DAME Magazine, and ProFellow. As a public speaker, Anesce has spoken at the US Consulate Kolkata, Midwest Tea Festival, AWP, Department of Labor, and co-hosted an event at the United Nations.
