Biography
Andrew E. Lanzino III is a senior executive, strategist, and educator with more than 20 years of experience driving growth, transformation, and innovation across hospitality, gaming, entertainment, and retail. He currently serves as chief growth officer at AREA15, leading the company’s global strategy for immersive entertainment, spanning attractions, ticketing, memberships, retail, programming, and event venues.
Previously, Andrew spent nearly a decade at MGM Resorts International, where he held senior leadership roles, including SVP of strategy & citywide events and chief of staff to the CEO. He was instrumental in shaping and executing enterprise strategy, governance, and high-profile activations such as the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix and Super Bowl LVIII. Earlier in his career, he served as executive vice president of operations at AKM Management Consulting, overseeing global retail operations for 1,200 locations and spearheading digital transformation initiatives for multinational clients.
Alongside his executive career, Andrew is a part-time instructor of Strategic Management at UNLV’s William F. Harrah College of Hospitality, where he teaches at the intersection of strategy, strategic management, and implementation. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in hospitality at UNLV, with research focused on how destinations can balance economic impact with cultural preservation and community power.
