Ana Patrnogich-Arieli

Biography
Ana Patrnogich-Arieli is the coordinator of academic transitions and learning support at the Academic Success Center (ASC) at UNLV. In this role, she manages the ASC Peer Mentor Program and the Hixson-Lied Success Scholar Program. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from UNLV and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Sierra Nevada University. She has been teaching since 2007 and has taught English at the secondary and postsecondary levels. Her previous professional experience also includes working with adult basic education reading and writing students and instructors and participating in various professional development projects for teachers. As a UNLV alumna, Ana is excited to bring her passion and experience to undergraduate students and to help them transition smoothly into university life.
