Aeriel G. Halstead earned her Ph.D. from Brigham Young University in clinical psychology. She has clinical experience across a variety of settings, including community mental health clinics, domestic violence shelters, state prisons, university counseling centers, a veterans affairs hospital, and private practice in the Las Vegas Valley. She has research experience in intimate partner violence with a specialization in primary prevention. She believes that primary prevention and early intervention often begin within school settings.
