Same as SOC 440X. This course examines tourism?s impact on social structures, interactions, cultures, and economic systems through theoretical sociological approaches. It leverages case studies, hands-on activities, and virtual reality experiences. It focuses on social and environmental issues while giving an overview of qualitative sociological research methods to understand how tourism trends shape societies.
