Description

(Same as ETS 471.) Analysis of inter-and intra-group conflicts associated with racial, ethnic, and socio-cultural differences. Attention to both structural and symbolic forms of domination and oppression and to the effects of prejudice and discrimination on all members of society. Special attention given to social movements for justice and equality. This course is crosslisted with SOC 671. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
