Description
Synthesizes knowledge of nutrition as a science and the role of nutrition and dietetics professionals in the future of the Nutrition Care Process. This course is crosslisted with NUTR 631. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.Prerequisites

ENCPT subscription through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required (cost ranges from $25 -100 depending on membership options); Krause & Mahan's Food and the Nutrition Care Process, 16th edition; 90-Day Access of Practice RD Exams from RD Bootcamp (https://rdbootcamp.com/product/2-timed-practice-rd-exams/); $45-60 for student poster printing (student responsible for obtaining their own poster printing during the semester); computers (not chromebooks), webcams, microphones, calculators required.
Students who have not submitted immunization records and students who have accepted online-only agreements are not eligible to enroll in classes with any in-person requirements.
