Esthetics and sociology of rock from its origins in rhythm and blues to the rise of Elvis Presley and rockabilly; Chuck Berry and teen-age rock; Bob Dylan and protest rock; the Beatles and Rolling Stones; psychedelic rock; and soul.Prerequisites
