Description
In this course, students will construct patient care scenarios and write standard patient (SP) scripts based on the chief complaints listed in the USMLE Step 2 CS Guide. The interaction will involve a medical provider at the level of a third-year medical student and an SP. The scripts should be accurate, simulate real patient interactions, and suitable for studying for students entering clinical rotations and/or preparing for USMLE Step 2 CS. The entire script should be 15 minutes and should simulate a Step 2 CS interaction. The course director and/or other faculty will assist the students in the process of writing.Prerequisites
