Description

Topics include fundamentals of algebra, functions and graphs, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions, and systems of linear equations. Note: This is a 3+2 credit course. Only 3 of 5 credits are counted for MATH 126 and toward graduation; the two corequisite credits are not counted toward the total needed for graduation. Duplicate credits cannot be earned in any two of Math 124/126/128.

Prerequisites

Coreq: MATH 26B

Notes

This course requires the use of Honorlock, an online proctoring service, for
exams. There is no additional cost to students for using Honorlock. This
course requires an external webcam positioned to capture a side-angle camera
view, microphone, and reliable internet connection to complete proctored
exams. Students also have the option to take exams on campus, as
made available by the instructor through the campus testing center.
This is an Internet class; refer to Canvas instructions at https://unlv.instructure.com.
This is a co-requisite class. Students enrolled in Math 126E.1201, must
enroll in Math 26B.1201
