Description

Overviews the basic principles of public speaking and delivering effective presentations. Topics include verbal and nonverbal delivery techniques, strategies to manage public speaking anxiety, speech organization, designing and using visual aids effectively, citing sources orally, and speech practice strategies.

This course is reserved for students officially enrolled in the online version of their degree program for the first two weeks of registration. Beyond the two week period, the class will be available to all students who meet the prerequisites.
