Description
Introduction to biology of the human species. For non-majors; emphasizing those aspects of structure, function, ecology, and evolution which provide a biological perspective for problems facing modern society. Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory.Prerequisites

This course is reserved for students officially enrolled in the online version of their degree program for the first two weeks of registration. Beyond the two week period, the class will be available to all students who meet the prerequisites. Most biology courses require one or more textbooks. Laboratory costs may include a textbook, and a digital or physical laboratory notebook. Some courses may require electronic resources such as clickers (or similar classroom response technology) and software subscriptions such as Labster. These costs are typically less than $300.
Students enrolled in the online lecture section must also enroll in the online lab section. Enrollment in an in-person lab will not be permitted.
