About the Faculty Dental Practice
UNLV Faculty Dental Practice is a multi-specialty, full-service, private practice-styled clinic within the school where licensed faculty dentists and hygienists offer comprehensive care and specialty services. Most private insurance plans are accepted, and incremental payments can be made for some procedures such as crowns, bridges, and implants. These experienced practitioners also offer sleep appliance dentistry, sinus lifts, and other advanced treatments.
Our Services and Specialties
General Practice
Our general practice dentists offer a wide range of treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, extractions, implants, surgical placements, and root canals.
You will likely be seen by Dr. Natalie Djansezian, Dr. John Gallob, Dr. Yoon Kang, or Dr. Rassilee Sharma.
Periodontics
Our periodontist specializes in supporting structures of the teeth including tooth maintenance, surgical procedures to maintain teeth, guided and unguided placements of surgical implants, bone grafting, and sinus lifts.
You will likely be seen by Dr. Robin Weltman.
Dental Hygiene
Our hygienists specialize in improving and maintaining optimal oral health by providing routine cleanings and periodontal maintenance.
You will likely be seen by Steve Allen or Jessica Mpelezos.
Prosthodontics
Our prosthodontist specializes in replacing missing or broken teeth by providing services including dentures, restoring dental implants with fixed and removable options, crowns, and bridges.
You will likely be seen by Dr. Tiffany Lee.
Pathology
Our oral pathologists determine the causes, processes, and effects of diseases that start in the mouth or jaw.
You will likely be seen by Dr. Moni Ahmadian or Dr. Sonal Shah.
Dental Radiology
Our radiologists review and interpret all dental imaging and prepare reports on those images and are available for patients and dentists in the community on an as-needed basis.

Orthodontics
Our orthodontists evaluate and complete the latest treatment options for moving or re-aligning teeth. Some of those options include clear braces, clear aligners, and Invisalign.
You will likely be seen by Dr. Tanya Al-Talib (sleep appliance dentistry).
Fees
The Faculty Dental Practice functions like a private dental office, and charges fees that are comparable to other local offices.
Our new patient exam fee of $241 includes a comprehensive oral exam with one of our general practitioners as well x-rays. Insurance may cover the consultation fee; however, it is not guaranteed. Patients have cash, credit or debit card payment options. Faculty Dental Practice does not accept Liberty or Medicaid insurance coverage.
Treatment plan or procedure estimates are discussed in person after the comprehensive exam is completed and reviewed.
