About
The Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis in the Department of Early Childhood, Multilingual, and Special Education is designed to meet the needs of graduate students seeking to study applied behavior analysis. The program consists of seven courses (21 credits). The primary emphasis of the program is on effective interventions for people with autism, intellectual disability, and other developmental disabilities.

Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of the certificate program, students will be able to:
- Develop and implement evidence-based practices for improving skills and behaviors
- Utilize culturally responsive practices to support the individual needs of clients
- Make ethical programming and practical decisions
- Engage in effective collaboration with families and professionals
- Develop and implement comprehensive and effective organizational behavior management and supervision plans
- Evaluate the effectiveness of ABA interventions
