Career Services provides interactive, up-to-date career and professional development skills workshops focused on best practices and learning-outcomes. See the topics we offer and to schedule a workshop for your students.

Request an Interactive Workshop

Whether you've already developed a career course assignment, or you’d like to collaborate with our team to develop a new one, please submit an Assignment Request Form so we can ensure our capacity for timely completion of the assignment. A member of our team will contact you within 3 to 5 business days to discuss your assignment needs.

Request Support for an Assignment

Whether you have an existing program you are coordinating or you would like to partner on something new and unique, please fill out the Event Request Form to provide us with more information. A member of our staff will contact you to schedule an initial meeting.

Note: We prefer to receive requests for collaboration at least 4 weeks in advance of the preferred date for the program or event. The more lead-time you give us, the more likely we’ll be able to accommodate your request.

Co-sponsor an Event or Workshop

We encourage faculty/staff to promote Career Services as a resource in your syllabus. Please use this blurb in your syllabus:

Your career starts on your first day at UNLV! Career Services is here to help you design your life, find a job or internship, and plan your career. Visit our website, set up your Handshake account, and bookmark the UNLV Career Toolkit. You can find us in SSC-A, Suite 201, call us at 702-895-3495, or email us at careerservices@unlv.edu.

You can also include the Career Readiness Competencies (NACE, 2019) in your syllabus to help students identify and articulate the skills they develop through their coursework.
