UNLV will host its fifth annual day of giving, Rebels Give, a University-wide, 24-hour event on March 23. The campaign is an opportunity for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to come together to experience the power of collective giving and partnerships.
Rebels Give, spearheaded by the UNLV Foundation, takes place online and across campus. The event allows the Rebel family to celebrate and support what they love about UNLV. No matter the size, every donation will make a lasting impact and help Rebels create, learn, and succeed for years to come.
“I want to see that anyone who wants a college degree has a chance and a path to success,” said UNLV President Keith E. Whitfield. “Our students are the next generation of leaders and innovators. Please join us on Rebels Give to help unlock potential, fuel discovery, and graduate students who will make a difference in the region, Nevada, and beyond.”
The university – and each of its colleges and divisions – will encourage support for their specific programs and causes during Rebels Give on social media with unique challenges, donor match opportunities, and more.
“Rebels Give is a celebration of UNLV and the transformative impact our culture of philanthropy has on students and our future,” said UNLV Foundation President Rickey N. McCurry. “We want our community of alumni and the community at large to know that no matter what they give, each gift helps us support vital research, student financial aid, engaging programming, career readiness curricula, and areas of greatest need.”
With just a click, supporters can participate in Rebels Give through the online giving portal at rebelsgive.unlv.edu. The process is quick, safe, easy to use, and digital payments via debit or credit card, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Android Pay are accepted.
