Business Affairs is pleased to announce that Laura Schneider has joined Purchasing and Contracts as the new PCard Administrator.

Laura brings more than a decade of UNLV experience, including roles as the Associate Director of Operations in Admissions within Academic Affairs and, most recently, as the Senior Compliance Analyst in Quality Assurance & Financial Compliance within Business Affairs. She joined UNLV in 2012 after relocating from New York and has since built strong expertise in operations, audit and compliance, and process management.

In this role, Laura will manage the UNLV Purchasing Card program, which supports 1,000–1,100 cardholders and processes roughly 75,000 transactions totaling $25 million each year. She will also oversee policy development and annual manual updates, monitor transactions for compliance, provide training and support to cardholders, and supervise program coordinators.
