UNLV Telecommunications has completed the transition of the university’s communication system to Webex Calling. Webex Calling provides reliable and secure voice services with features that support desk phones, softphones, and emergency phones. The system is available to all UNLV faculty and staff and is designed to support self-service through the User Portal, remote work, and advanced calling needs. Features include:

  • Standard calling functions 
  • Visual voicemail via the Webex App
  • Voicemail to email with transcription
  • Softphone included with all standard users via the Webex App
  • Customer self-service options 
  • Hotel/generic workspace support
  • Advanced calling features
  • Call queues
  • Single number reach
  • Ability to use your UNLV number on a call phone without the Webex App
