A new learning management system, CHIMERA Safety Training, will launch soon. CHIMERA will serve as the primary platform for completing required safety training managed by Risk Management and Safety (RMS).

Access to CHIMERA Safety Training will be available through the same landing page currently used for RMS safety training. All safety courses will be accessible to UNLV staff and students using their ACE accounts, and courses will be available through self-enrollment.

Curated curriculum paths will also be available to simplify enrollment for specific groups, such as the School of Nursing and the School of Dental Medicine. These curricula consolidate required safety training into a single, convenient location. Additional course requirements may apply based on the instructor's or program's needs.

As part of this transition, REBELPeople / REBELearn and Student Safety Academy will no longer be used for RMS safety training, with one exception:

• General Workplace Safety will continue to be completed in REBELearn. While this course will also be available in CHIMERA Safety Training, it will continue to be tracked in the Human Resources Workday platform to support employee accountability and OSHA compliance requirements.

All other RMS safety-related training will be delivered and tracked exclusively through CHIMERA Safety Training.
