Parking permits for the 2023-2024 academic year are on sale now.  All faculty and staff are required to have a "Staff" permit registered to their account to park their vehicles on campus.

As a reminder, Parking & Transportation Services has transitioned to a virtual parking permit system. The system uses license plate recognition (LPR) technology to connect license plates to parking permits. This means your license plate is your permit and you no longer need to display a parking tag on your vehicle.

Since your license plate is your permit, it is extremely important that the license plate numbers listed for each vehicle attached to your permit are accurate in the parking system. If you have a specialty plate that has vertical letters preceding the numbers, be sure to include them.

License plates must be visible from the drive aisle. If you prefer to back your car into a parking space and do not have a front license plate, you must continue to display a parking sticker on your windshield or rearview mirror hang tag. Parking decals are available for this purpose at a cost of $5. Contact parking@unlv.edu or 702-895-1300 to purchase a parking decal.

Please see below for information about how to purchase your permit.
