Workday email notifications keep you informed about pending approvals, tasks, and system updates. These notifications can be customized to align with your preferences. Options include receiving notifications immediately, as a daily digest, or turning them off altogether. You can also adjust notification settings for various business processes, such as approvals and tasks.
How to Change Your Preferences
- Click your Profile Icon in the upper-right corner of Workday, then My Account.
- Select Change Preferences.
- Under Email Channel, choose your preferred notification frequency for alerts and business processes.
Note: The email address for the business process field displays the email address where notifications are sent.
Available Frequency Options
The options below outline notification frequencies and definitions:
- Daily – Receive notifications bundled in one email, typically delivered at 7 am each morning.
- Immediately – Receive notifications via email or on your mobile device as soon as they occur.
- Mute – Opt out of email notifications while keeping them accessible in your Workday inbox.
