Limited funding is available for the summer Federal Work-Study program, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted. The federal student aid program provides funding for part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need. The program allows for students to earn money to help pay for educational expenses.
To be eligible to receive federal student aid a student must maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA and 67% completion rate (student must complete 67% of their attempted courses). The maximum award for summer is $3,000, with the final amount based on the student's available financial aid need. Students in Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) "warning" status will have their summer work-study award held until spring semester grades are posted.
Departments may submit students for review via the Google Form.
Students enrolled in summer classes must submit a Summer Aid Form through Rebel Success Hub before a review can be completed.
Students not enrolled in summer classes must submit an Intent to Enroll for Fall 2026 Form through Rebel Success Hub and must have completed a 2026-27 FAFSA. Both requirements must be met before a review can be completed.
Summer work study funding covers the period of May 16, 2026, through August 15, 2026.
