The submission period for Cycle 4 Permanent Base Salary Change Requests opened on January 1, 2026, and closes January 15, 2026. Requests that are not fully routed by the deadline will be returned for cancellation.
Cycle 4 details
- Effective date: April 1, 2026 (last available cycle for this fiscal year)
- Workday submission period opened: January 1, 2026
- Submission deadline: January 15, 2026 (all requests must be fully routed to the Compensation and Classification team by this date)
Important reminders
- FY26 questionnaire requirement: Departments must complete the FY26 Questionnaire for Permanent Change to Base Salary Google Form for promotions, additional assignments, equity adjustments, and retention requests. The completed form must be attached to the Workday business process submission.
- Submission responsibility: Workday business process initiators are responsible for ensuring submissions are fully routed to the Compensation and Classification team by January 15, 2026. Requests received after this deadline will not be considered for Cycle 4 and will be returned for cancellation.
- Budget planning: Departments are responsible for managing their budgets accordingly. Funding questions should be directed to your assigned budget analyst.
Timely and complete documentation supports efficient processing of salary changes. Questions may be directed to the compensation/classification unit.
