The 1% FY26 Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for eligible classified staff under collective bargaining (units A, E, F, C, G and L) has been successfully applied in Workday, effective July 1. COLA adjustments appeared on the July 25 paycheck.

Departments should run the Workday “CLA COLA Validation - By Supervisory Organization - HCM - CR (UNLV)” report to ensure all eligible employees received the correct COLA amounts. This report is available to administrative assistants and HR liaisons.

Check for:

  • Accurate COLA application
  • Correct position numbers and salaries
  • Proper handling of retained rates

Departments are responsible for ensuring COLA amounts are accurate and should alert Human Resources if corrections or additions are needed through the CBA COLA FY26 Corrections Form. by Thursday, July 31, at 5 p.m. Updates will be reflected in the August 8 paycheck.

If you need to verify bargaining unit eligibility, use the “Classified Workers with CB Unit- HCM - CR (UNLV)” report or check the unit representation by accessing the job profile details in Workday. You can also visit the DHRM's Labor Relations Unit webpage to review the position lists based on unit representation.
