Apr. 15, 2026

We are proud to announce the third annual AI in the Classroom Virtual Summit, taking place on October 16, 2026! The planning committee invites faculty, graduate students, and instructional designers/technologists to submit proposals for presentations. We are currently accepting proposals through May 22, 2026. Please find the application form at the bottom of this announcement. More information can be found below:

This year’s summit welcomes a broad range of perspectives, including teaching about AI, with AI, and through “AI-aware” and “AI-critical” approaches. Proposal formats may include interactive sessions, demonstrations, panels, research presentations, and hands-on workshops. Whether you are using AI to enhance student engagement, rethinking assessment design, fostering AI literacy, or critically examining (or even excluding) AI in your classroom, we invite you to share how AI is shaping your teaching practice.

All proposals should:

  • Clearly address higher education teaching and learning in the age of AI.
