The Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) has approved the United States Postal Service's (USPS) request for a First-Class Mail postal rate increase. The rate increase takes effect Sunday, July 13.

This adjustment is part of the USPS's 10-year “Delivering for America” plan, aimed at creating a more sustainable and efficient postal system. The changes will include a five-cent increase to First-Class letter mail, raising the cost from $0.73 to $0.78, along with an overall average increase of approximately 7.4% for mailing service products.
