Brittany Galvez, EMBA Program Manager
Jun. 14, 2025

Brittany Galvez may be new to Southern Nevada and the UNLV, but she brings a wealth of academic experience and a passion for service that fits perfectly with the University’s mission.

A native of Orange County, Brittany played softball at California Baptist University in Riverside and began working for the school’s ticketing and sales teams after graduation. That role led her to join Claremont Graduate University and later Concordia University Irvine – as Assistant Director of Admissions and Recruitment in both roles.

“That’s where I developed my love of working with students,” she recalls. “Helping them, making sure they were utilizing the resources offered at the university, making sure they were staying on track for graduation.”

Overseeing staff and students from various programs helped Brittany develop a sense of purpose, and as she eyed new opportunities to support future graduates, she found UNLV’s Executive MBA program had everything she’d been looking for. In April 2025, she joined the University as the EMBA new Program Manager.

“In admissions you’re often working with students up until they begin school,” she explains. “I really wanted to find something that was more hands-on, and the EMBA office is fully committed to working with students through graduation.

“I see my role as student support and student-focused. From operations to onboarding, paperwork to parking passes, I will be with our students all the way, whether they need help with scheduling, travel, letting them know about alumni and social events – I’m there for them.”

Brittany Galvez:

Q: What Have You Loved So Far About UNLV and Las Vegas?

Brittany Galvez: I used to play college softball and have played at UNLV, and I really had a great time playing against them. But wheat drew me to UNLV is the innovation and connection to the business community. The EMBA program draws lifelong learners who want to broaden their areas of expertise. Whether it’s students in business, healthcare, the first responder sector -- being able to work alongside motivated individuals drives me to provide the highest level of support. So far it’s been nothing but great ideas and collaborations.
