The UNLV residence halls will close for Winter Break at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, at which building and room access will expire for all residents. Students who are returning for the Spring semester are not required to move their belongings out. However, any student who wishes to remain in their assigned room during the break must submit a Winter Stay request.

Please note: Winter Break housing is separate from the Fall & Spring housing terms, and requires an approved request. The residence halls will reopen on Saturday, January 17, 2026, welcoming back all residents, returning and new, for the start of the Spring semester.
