Getting to Allegiant Stadium: student transit guide

You’ve got several easy options: RTC Game Day Express shuttle from campus, rideshare to Lot N, a short walk over the Hacienda pedestrian bridge from Mandalay Bay, or paid on-site parking at Allegiant. GPSA’s tailgate is in Lot C, using six adjacent spaces, from 9:00 AM until we head in for the noon kickoff.

RTC Game Day Express (campus shuttle)

The RTC runs a dedicated Game Day Express service for UNLV home games for $4 round-trip. It departs from the UNLV Transit Center (next to Greenspun Hall) and connects directly to Allegiant Stadium. Service typically begins about three hours before kickoff and runs until roughly one hour before kickoff, with return service for about an hour after the game; buses run about every 20 minutes. Buy fare in the RTC app or pay at boarding.

Cost: $4 round-trip.
When it runs: roughly three hours pre-kick to one hour pre-kick; returns for ~one hour post-game (check RTC on game day for exact times).

Rideshare (Uber/Lyft):

Allegiant’s designated rideshare zone for drop-off and pickup is Lot N on Dean Martin Drive, just north of the stadium. Follow signage and staff to the Lot N zone. Pricing varies based on demand and time.

Where you’ll go: Lot N, north of Allegiant on Dean Martin Dr.

Walk from the Strip (Hacienda pedestrian bridge)

If you’re staying or parking near Mandalay Bay/Delano, the safest and fastest walk is via the Hacienda pedestrian bridge from Las Vegas Blvd. The bridge is closed to vehicles on select event days and is the recommended route into Allegiant. Expect about a 10–15 minute walk.

Optional low-cost add-on: The Deuce bus runs 24/7 along Las Vegas Blvd. An $8 day pass can get you to Mandalay Bay to use the bridge and back later.

Drive and park (on-site)

All Allegiant-controlled lots require an advance-purchased parking pass; the stadium is cashless. Lots generally open about four hours before kickoff. Passes are sold via UNLVtickets with additional third-party options nearby. Arrive early to avoid congestion.

When lots open: typically four hours before kickoff.
Payment: cashless only.

Tailgate location and timing

GPSA’s tailgate is in Lot C at Allegiant Stadium. We have six adjacent spaces (two vehicles, one camper, and a gathering area under shade) and will be set up from 9:00 AM until we move into the stadium just before the noon kickoff. Look for the GPSA camper and flags.

Entry reminders

Allegiant is mobile-ticket only; add tickets to your phone wallet before you arrive. A clear bag policy is enforced; if you bring a non-approved bag, stadium bag check is available for a $20 cashless fee and closes one hour after the event.

Tips for timing your arrival

If you’re taking the RTC shuttle, target arrival two hours pre-kick to avoid the final-hour crowding. Rideshare post-game will surge; if you want to skip surge pricing, consider walking to Mandalay Bay via the Hacienda bridge and calling a ride from there.
