Informational / Q&A Webinar

This research development opportunity offers research teams the opportunity to receive professional support for their project. This may include planning activities to identify appropriate grant opportunities, support in identifying intermediate steps toward larger grants, grant writing support, grant review and feedback, and research team strategic planning, among others. If you aren't sure if or how the Research Challenge may benefit your research or scholarship goals, please plan to attend an informational/Q&A webinar via zoom on Thursday, October 9, at 11 am with Gwen Marchand (AVP for Research) and Elizabeth Festa from McAllister & Quinn. 

The Challenge involves two phases: 1) Teams develop a short proposal outlining their project; 2) 6 teams will be invited to present their project as a “pitch” during the 2026 Interdisciplinary Research Symposium on January 28, 2026. 

Deadline Extended

The concept paper submission deadline has been extended to November 2, 2025, 11:59pm. All submissions must be made through the InfoReady@UNLV platform. If you previously submitted a concept paper for this opportunity and wish to make edits, please submit a new concept paper. It will replace the one you submitted earlier.
