A Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) was issued in the case of Association of American Universities v. Dept. of Energy. The TRO enjoins the Department of Energy (DOE) from “implementing, instituting, maintaining, or giving effect” to its new policy limiting financial support of indirect costs to 15%, as well as from making any other modifications to negotiated indirect cost rates.
